Alex Wearable Posture Tracker and Coach Giveaway #BeatTextNeck @alexposture
This is one of the most unique products I have tried in a long time. I will start by saying I often end up suffering from back pain, especially after sitting at my desk all day. Now I know why! The ALEX Wearable Posture Tracker and Coach is amazing and provides an easy way for me to monitor my posture habits.
ALEX is the first wearable posture tracker that accurately measures the angle of your neck and position of your head, and then coaches you towards better posture, every day. I wasn’t quite sure how this would work but it actually works very well. When you go through the setup process you are basically taught what the correct angle of your neck should be. Red is not a correct angle, while green is. For me I found that I was actually holding my head too upright. I didn’t even know that could be a problem… But since I started using this, I have not had a sore neck or back which makes me much more comfortable all day and night long.
ALEX sits gently on the back of your neck to track the angle of your neck and the position of your head, relative to your body. It is simple to put on and the app walks you through the entire process. When you your posture is poor for more than a few minutes, ALEX vibrates according to your personal setting. The app also lets you track your progress over time and monitor your posture in real time.
With this tracker directly on the most appropriate target area – the readings are far more accurate than other devices. It is easy to pair with bluetooth and your device – far more easy than most programs.
Then there is immediate feedback as well as a way to track progress. All excellent data especially if you start to have back or neck discomfort.
When texting this tracker helps to prevent “text neck” – I already had to have surgery for texting thumbs… This sits comfortably around the back of my neck, similar to a pair of behind the head headphones. This is rechargeable and tends to hold a charge up to 7 days straight.
For people with long hair it works best if you hair is up and out of the way such as in a pony tail. My only real issue was that I had a tough time wearing my reading glasses while the posture coach was looped over my ears.
And now for this awesome giveaway…
