    I accepted your dare and WOW!!!! I’ve never cooked an entire chicken before so I was a bit nervous. So easy! After it was fully cooked I wanted it to have a brown skin, so I rubbed a little olive oil on it and placed it under the broiler for about 15 minutes. It worked! I am falling in love with my crock pot.

  2. I am so glad you tried it. I was sooo scared and skeptical at first but chicken doesn’t get much better than that. Just for the record – it absolutely does not work with Turkey. Tried that (with supervision) and it began to burn immediately. I guess a turkey doesn’t produce enough of it’s own grease.
