Short Sleeves to Tank Top
In the last year our two youngest children have grown significantly. They had both always been the smallest in their classes and that is no longer the case. Right now we are in a spell of really warm weather (at least at the time of writing this post) and my son no longer has any tank tops in his wardrobe – which he refers to as armpit shirts.
I looked through at least five stores today and could not find any to purchase as I am sure all of Connecticut is doing the same thing. So I asked him to give me a couple of his tshirts and we made our own. They came out pretty well and now he is comfortable as can be. These initial shots are with the shirt already turned inside out.
While the shirt is inside out I just created a very small 1/8 inch straight stitch hemline around the armholes, turned it right side out and I am done. I purposely used a different color than the shirt because my son prefers that.
cute! ya these are super popular in our Texas heat down here!
