Which do I bring home?
Today was a phenomenal day for roadkill rescue – if I could have done it. There were many yard sales in the area (which I did not go to) but when they closed up shop they left many things – primarily furniture items – on the side of the road with a FREE sign on them. Aren’t those the best? Problem is I am not at home. My mental argument?… Do I go back for that dresser and desk – which I could do phenomenal things with OR do I bring the kids and dogs home? BECAUSE – if I picked up the furniture there would not be enough room in the suburban to bring both kids and both dogs – so which gets left behind!
Just kidding – I am obviously bringing the kids and dogs home but I tried to come up with a logistical way to get that furniture home. Of course it is furniture I definitely do not need BUT the fun I could have with it. I suppose my fun for now will need to be limited to the kids and dogs…
Problem is I need to start clearing my hoard out of the garage because the cooler months are coming and a vehicle will need to be in there. It was fun while it lasted. I do still have a roadkill rescue dresser in the garage – which is useless as a dresser so I will make it into something else. And I do still have a large number of spray paint cans and some have actually gone bad already and found their way into the dumpster. Who knows maybe tomorrow I will go back and get that desk… Get it home how? I will cross that bridge when I get to it. I am sure someone could use a desk.
