Wall Addition From Kids
It is now very rare for me to be able to take my tools and or spray paint out without the kids hovering hoping for an opportunity to “create”.
This is their creation for today. It was a small wooden remnant from a desk I took apart. It was basically just a rectangle but the middle of the rectangle had a hole in it – where the computer cables could be fed through when it was still a desk. Since you know I can’t throw anything out – I was sure this would have another life somehow.
Eager to “create” – they took a bunch of bright colors out of my spray paint collection and (after priming the piece) just started taking turns painting diagonal lines. But we still needed something to fill the hole. Have no fear, my daughter ran straight upstairs to my collection of paper roses, chose the color and size she thought complemented the piece the most – and we hung it on a wall. Good thing we have tons of wall space in our home.
Aw! So sweet!
