The Colorful Graveyard
We have quite a bit of old lumber lying around at our house from when we built the addition. Some of it really needs to be burned but some of we have managed to keep in some sort of usable state.
The kids and I (I used the circular saw) chopped up some of the lumber and made headstones to place throughout the front yard. We used what we had of course which included 1×12’s and 2×12’s.
Then we used (they did the painting) the primer we had and the assortment of spray paints still on hand.
Lastly, we wrote sayings on them with the largest permanent marker we could find in the house.
Here you go… They aren’t staked into the ground – merely leaning on other objects but they are so heavy I am sure they aren’t going too far. And there is one more but for some reason that paint is not even coming close to drying. Hopefully it eventually will…
