My Poor Daughter…
My youngest child has been initiated into a curse of girls/women. Nope, not the one you are thinking (she is after all only six). But the one where a round brush gets so tangled up in long hair you sometimes need to just cut it off.
She came running into the living room freaking and crying because the brush was stuck in her hair. Poor thing kept trying to get it out and just made it so much worse with the end result being a brush anchored very firmly to the side of her head. Thank God my husband was home. It took he and I together a half hour to get that mess undone and thankfully we did not need to resort to cutting it out. We took one strand of hair at a time and wiggled it free then moved on to the next. Poor Sephora was so nerved up the entire time afraid it was a loss and we would need to resort to scissors. I did explain that every girl/woman does this AT LEAST ONCE in their lives and those brushes can be brutal….
Poor thing! I’m glad you didn’t have to cut it! And yes, I have done that!
I did it too – probably more than once. She has recovered though…
