Tonight was our Town’s Frostival. This is one of the reasons we live here – our town does a great deal to celebrate our community and to benefit families – at no cost.
Tonight we had Christmas Caroling on the Green with free cookies and hot chocolate.
Then we all participated in a parade which was led by Mr. and Mrs. Claus and concluded with Frosty and Rudolf.
At the conclusion of the parade of course the kids could stand in line and sit on Santa’s lap. They could also have their picture taken with Frosty and/or Rudolph. Our kids chose to do Frosty and Rudolph as they already have a photo with Santa and the line was miles long for that visit.
PLUS – we had someplace else to be. In the next town over there is a home that decorates every year with “dancing lights”. It is quite the sight to see. They accept donations and donate 100% of the proceeds to a charity and this year is the Make A Wish Foundation.
Then we came home to watch the Grinch.
What a great evening.
