Bottle Gift Upcycle
You have heard me say it a million times – I love Starbuck’s Frappuccinos (the bottled sort). Although I don’t save every bottle, I do save most. They are quite handy to have around for a multitude of craft projects. This is a project making them into Christmas gifts.
First you drink the frappuccino – still with me? Then you clean the empty bottle and cap thoroughly. In this case I did not take the labels off but for other projects I have. Decide on a color to spray paint the bottle caps – I chose hunter green because that is what I had on hand and it is a Christmas color. Wrap scrapbook paper around the bottle and secure with glue. Lastly, decorate with something additional – whatever you feel like at the time. Oh, and of course fill them with something fun – tootsie rolls.
