This week in photos

With kids ranging in age from 6 to 25 – we have been through years and years of car seats and booster seats and have literally purchased vehicles based on the size of the back seat and how much room there would be around one or two car seats.  Now that my kids are finally old enough for us to totally be free from all car seats – my kids keep sneaking them back in.  The initial reason was so they could always strap some sort of stuffed animal into the car seat in between them.  NOW – it is for more practical reasons.  It gives them each an armrest and also provides each of them with a cup holder.  So, now this is how we travel – still cramped but apparently now as a choice…

She is not sitting in the booster seat – it is in the center spot between the two kids.  She is using the arm rest on the door for her right arm and the arm rest of the booster seat for her left arm.

Now I know you see plenty of dog photos but these are different.  Or at least the equipment used to take them is different.  My husband bought me two new lenses.  I don’t know the official names for them but one is a larger telephoto lens and one is a manual only portrait lens.

This first photo was taken with the portrait lens…

And this was taken from the farthest point in the room with the telephoto lens (otherwise she would never have sat still for me to take a picture)…

And I also used the telephoto lens for this shot… She was not feeling well at all and had all she could do to keep her head up…
