Standardized testing starts tomorrow and my son informed me that he needed a haircut today so he would test better? Okay – so I cut his hair. Then he requested for it to be cut shorter – it was already cut pretty tight to his head – now it is a very close brush cut.
Then my daughter wanted a haircut – and she has never had one. Her hair was almost down to her toukis. It has been getting very difficult to maintain and she no longer wants my help. So I agreed to cut her hair. I cut off about four inches (yes I do the cutting of the kids hair). My husband wasn’t thrilled with how much less long her hair now is but it is still plenty long to put in a pony tail, pigtail or pig-ony. It was so long she could no longer even rinse the shampoo or conditioner out on her own or even brush the snarls out of it – and she is old enough now that she does not want my help.
Too bad I can’t cut my own hair because I am the one in the house that probably needs the haircut most. But they look good for now.
