Yummy Healthy Soup
This recipe came from a friend of mine and this is the name she gave to it – and it fits.
The recipe calls for just five ingredients – But my batch skipped one because my husband doesn’t eat tomatoes.
The recipe is as follows:
Large can of low sodium chicken broth
1 cup brown rice
1 pound ground turkey (italian seasoned)
1 bag of spinach (we added extra spinach)
1 can of diced tomatoes (we skipped this)
Basically all you do is brown the ground turkey – then place everything in a pot and let it simmer until the rice is good and cooked.
Then refrigerate until you are ready to eat or eat immediately.
