This Week in Pictures – The Aquarium
The Baluga Whales – by far our favorite attraction. This guy is playing with his blanky.
This one kept making faces at Sephora at the glass
My Favorite – Sea Lions
Hanging out in the viewing window
Can we go now?
“Isn’t it funny how she thinks we are angels?”
Sitting in another viewing window
Don’t eat me!
Still loving the viewing window
If you are looking for some other awesome aquariums – check out the Baltimore Inner Harbor Aquarium and also learn more about What Is Baltimore Maryland Known For?
As you can see we had a terrific time at the Aquarium. At the conclusion of our visit we did purchase a full year family pass – we will definitely be going back.
What you can expect:
Live animals indoor and out
Hands on interaction with some animals
Exhibits – Titanic, SpongeBob 4D and MORE
The mission of Sea Research Foundation, Inc., which includes Mystic Aquarium, Ocean Exploration Center and JASON Learning, is to inspire people to care for and protect our ocean planet through education, research and exploration.
Season passes are tax deductible – I didn’t know that until we purchased them but it is a nice plus to the expense. It is possible to spend hours at the Aquarium. However, should you choose to check out other places in the immediate area there are specialized shops immediately outside the aquarium, some nice restaurants and just a hop, skip and a jump down the road – Mystic Seaport.
While you are in Mystic – check out Mystic Seaport
