Where Do We Go?
When we are not home – this is where we are…
Face painting is a rare treat for Sephora. She has terrible allergies but the face drawing crayons don’t seem to cause a reaction. Just to be sure though I would not let her get her whole face painted.
Playing catch with Ant
Playing catch with Seph
We go to the movies
At the pools – Ant is behind Seph on the diving board
Building at the beach(es)
She is the wave rider in the family
Riding the trolley from place to place
Doesn’t she love having a window in the trolley?
Multiple amusement parks
Multiple water parks
Eating ice cream waiting for the trolley
Sitting on the basketballs I won
(did you know I am AWESOME at basketball – shooting not playing
I play a MEAN game of H-O-R-S-E. I NEVER lose!)
And sometimes we just hang around and read. He is loving this book – don’t let the face fool you. He just wasn’t loving having me catch him loving his book with a photo. His friends can’t know he is enjoying himself reading…
And sometimes we just play games – like Toss Up. And yes that is a recycled yogurt container as a dice shaker cup. The kids hands are too little to roll ten dice at the same time.
Chillin’ by the fire (while I am blogging at the picnic table)
My turn to sit by the fire
A 360 degree view (with the following pictures) of our camper and campsite
Three bikes, a double screen tent with TV, DVD, lights
More bikes, hammock, chairs, lights
The mancave part of the campsite – grill, TV, Outdoor kitchen…
Where we park our vehicle – no place else
Yet another view of the screen tent
So, nope – we don’t rough it. In fact I think we have more here than we have at home. I could easily live permanently on this piece of real estate.
We also go to short track races, baseball games, flea markets, thrift stores, yard sale shopping, we eat LOTS of ice cream (pretty much daily here), we ride bikes miles and miles per day, hike (though I would much rather ride a bike if I can because of my legs but I try not to let me legs stop us from doing anything) canoe, kayak, bingo, basketball, fishing, fly kites, miniature golf, play on playscapes, crafts and projects, and we meet new friends from all over the world! These memories are priceless.
