The Best Pencil Sharpener EVER

This pencil sharpener is a product I was very excited to try.  It is from Classroom Friendly Supplies and they graciously sent me one to review.  Can you imagine my excitement!  I don’t know about you but I have purchased several battery operated pencil sharpeners over the years and my kids tend to kill them – and rather quickly too.  Remember how I prefer the old fashioned manual lawn mower to any type of mower with an engine?  My feelings are pretty similar with a pencil sharpener.  I don’t need bells and whistles I just want to sharpen my pencils.

This sharpener is very different from any sharpener I have ever used before – even upon sight it does not have a usual pencil sharpener shape.  It is available in multiple colors also – mine is a light blue.

An elementary school teacher developed this pencil sharpener.  He knew what he was doing.  It is very sturdy and hardworking, beautiful and quiet.  You can sit it on a shelf or you can mount it – hardware is supplied and it takes ten seconds TOPS to install.  No tools are necessary.  The sharpener is $24.99 with FREE shipping and they are so awesome he can’t keep the sharpeners stocked.  As soon as he stocks them – he sells out again.  These are great for schools with large volumes of sharpening!

But doesn’t it look awesome!  There are instructional videos on the website to show you how to sharpen a pencil.  I know that seems strange but it does have a process unlike any other you have used before so it is worth reviewing the videos first.

To sharpen a pencil you pull the chrome face out, squeeze the black tabs, push your pencil all the way in and release the black tabs.  From there you start cranking and as you crank that chrome section feeds the pencil into the sharpening mechanism until the pencil is sharpened.

Would you like to see it in action?

Aren’t these pencils awesome – you can’t ask for a sharper point than this.

The pencils are sharpened evenly all the way around also.  There is nothing worse than sharpening a pencil to a point only to find the point still covered with wood on the other side rendering it useless. As a review I would give this sharpener a 5 (out of 5). The website also has tips and tricks for cleaning the pencil sharpener as well as some troubleshooting. So click on the button in my sidebar and get your pencil sharpener now from Classroom Friendly Supplies.  You will be very pleased with your purchase.

Thanks Troy at Classroom Friendly Supplies for allowing me this review opportunity.  My family should now be able to keep some sharpened pencils around!
