A while back I posted about how my husband cooks corn on the grill. This week while on vacation my husband started doing what I suggested and it works great. Another blogger responded on my post to cook it early and keep it in a cooler – it stays warm all day.
He has placed the corn in the cooler more than three hours before we were ready to eat it. And even then it was super hot when we removed the aluminum foil and the corn silk. Too hot to keep handling – it took some time to open each.
So yes, it works and works well. It probably works even better than not putting them into the cooler because they continue to be steamed while in there.
As you can see, we used a simple plastic cooler – nothing special.
