Remove Pine Sap From Clothing
Isn’t the Christmas season great? The decorations, the trees, excited children etc…?
However, if you have a real tree for Christmas you risk getting pine sap on your clothing and hands. This can be an issue when you bring it in the house to set it up as well as when you are shipping it back out to “return to the earth”.
This year my favorite jacket survived the tree’s arrival but not its departure. Pine sap – right up the entire front. I washed and washed it; spraying with prewash; running the “steam assist” cycle etc… It decreased the size significantly but never enough to actually wear the article of clothing again.
Simply soak the affected area with rubbing alcohol. Wait a few minutes then take a facecloth or rag and rub the hardened pine sap right off. Easy as can be. Never again will I fret about that pine sap.
