Product Review – Jow Natural Pain Relief Gel
Jow Natural Topical Pain Relief Gel
Jow is a specific combination of dried herbs that soak in high quality alcohol for several months to allow the beneficial properties of the herbs to extract. The liquid is then added to an easy to use water based gel, resulting in a powerful topical answer for pain that has been enhancing the quality of lives for years.
The ingredients are: Alcohol, Distilled Water, Carbomer, Mugwort, Dragon’s Blood, Burred Tuber, Frankincense, Peach Kernel, Safflower, Myrrh, Red Peony Root, Zedonary Rhizome, Ox Knee Root, Chinese Angelica Root, Himalayan Teasel Root, Borneol.
Some of those who use Jow.. Professional athletes to weekend warriors to help overcome injury so they can get back to their game, gardeners, mechanics, construction workers, all day computer workers, Chronic pain and Arthritis sufferers.
Jow has an earthy, herbal smell. There are no perfume, dyes, chemicals added. No parabens. Does not get hot or cold on skin. Our plastic squeeze bottles are BPA free and American made.
Jow is a family run business from Rockland County, NY and this product is based on the methods of traditional Chinese medicine.
First I will say that I love the packaging. It is designed with earth tone colors and not anything bright and flashy. The bottle itself is brown and a sturdy brown plastic. When I opened the bottle there was a tamper proof seal under the cover. The gel itself is typical gel consistency and does have an odor. Not like pain relieving creams found at local stores – the odor reminded me of Absorbine Jr. – which I was intimately familiar with while in college. However, Absorbine Jr. would actually burn my skin – Jow, does not result in any real or perceived temperature changes. I do wish it didn’t have an odor but the odor is not offensive in any way and it is specifically due to the combination of natural ingredients used to promote pain relief. In the end, I will use anything natural that works and this definitely does. A 2oz plastic bottle retails online for $11.99 and that is inexpensive as far as natural pain relief goes. In the end, I would definitely consider purchasing more of this to maintain pain relief (due to osteoarthritis and bursitis).
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
