Product Review – Mango Tree Creations Tie Dye Tunic
Ann Butler is the creative force behind Mango Tree Creations. Ann has been a dressmaker in several stages of her life and her strength is in making Plus Size women look good. Since she has always loved fabrics, especially hand-printed, batiked and imported fabrics, she adapted the Indonesian batiks with fringe to the style that she developed – and the rest is history.
Ann has made hundreds of these tunics, dresses, and caftans. Her standard saying is that “this covers up the lumpy areas”. Plus Size women find that they are a pretty alternative to t-shirts and flatter the wearer. Customers keep coming back to Mango Tree Creations for more. Ann learns and adapts to her customers’ tastes so she can send them a photo of all the cloth laid out. When Ann receives a cloth shipment she sends customers fabric photos and they are able to personally select which fabrics they want for their garment before they are even listed on Etsy.
The prices at Mango Tree Creations are very reasonable, based on the cost of the cloth and the time invested in the garment creation. Ann does excellent work as evidenced by her greater than 300 fine recommendations, which, by the way, compliment Ann as the seller as often as the quality of the product.
Mango Tree Creations has world-wide clientele from all over the US, countries in Europe, Asia and Australia.
As I write this she is listing even more products!
Ann lives in San Diego, California, right on the Mexican border. So she goes south and hand-picks hand woven Mexican blankets, especially those of superior quality, for those of you who don’t have access to these items. Australians love them!!! So all of her blankets are brand new – not used, not vintage — and, believe me, if there’s anything you don’t want it’s a used Mexican blanket!!! She’s also traveled widely and has vintage Chinese batik wall hangings and other jewelry and collectibles from her travels.

I received this awesome tie dye tunic from Ann to review. Who does not love Tie Dye right?! I think half of my daughter’s wardrobe is actually tie dye… The fabric is nice and light – perfect for this terrible heat wave we are trying to survive at the moment. I can wear it to work, over a bathing suit, as an evening coverup and more. It is extremely versatile as an article of clothing – no limits. I can dress it up or wear it casually. I love how loose and flowing it is. The vibrant colors are totally perfect for me. I love the fringe – it just adds so much “more” to the design. Now if you know me you know that neon green, hot pink and bright colors are definitely favorites of mine. I could not ask for more. The neck is nicely bound and the edging very clean and perfect.
My daughter was the photographer for these photos – she calls what she did going “camera crazy”. She is only 8 years old and I have to rely on her for photos of me – didn’t she do a great job? She was trying to get photos from all different angles.
I love Mango Tree Creations garments. And Ann is offering a deal just for you – 10% off with coupon code STUFFOFSUCCESS HERE!
