Product Review – The Mighty Handle
I hate grocery shopping. My frustration isn’t about the grocery shopping nor all the running around nor all the time I spend doing it. My frustration is carrying all those bags and the million trips (what it feels like) it takes to get all those bags to their final destination. You can’t place much into those plastic bags and it seems like they are purposely designed to be a hassle. Often I will bring my reusable bags with me but I am also caught without them many times. When I am really lucky my 8 year old daughter will come with me and help.
Did I mention that I have to carry groceries up three flights of stairs? For every set of bags I carry there are 44 steps up and 44 steps down.
The Mighty Handle is a very simple design with an anchor shaped piece of plastic with a handle. In practice all you do is loop as many bags as you can carry directly on to the arms of the “anchor”. The photo above is my daughter in action with the Mighty Handle. She could not wait to try it out. She actually did slip a couple more bags onto the handle but she is so short the bags were dragging so we couldn’t put much more. What’s more is that I have arthritis in my hands. Carrying too many bags in my fingers or even on my arms is really not an option. I can easily hold the handle of the Mighty Handle and achieve a greater result. The design allows for the weight to be balanced in your hand and carry up to 50 pounds at a time.
