Bike Basket Solution
While camping we spend so much time on our bikes traveling all over including the pool and or beach. I can’t possibly carry everything the kids need to take with them. Sephora had a bike basket but it finally broke after several years. This is the solution (although the photos are Anthony’s bike because he needed a basket too).
I wanted something sturdy and rugged for their abuse. The solution was a simple plastic bucket from the dollar store. I cut the rope handle off – I won’t be using that. Then I thread some tshirt yarn through the holes and tied it on to the bike handlebars.
Tshirt yarn is simply a cut of an old tshirt approximately 1 inch wide that you pull and stretch and it rolls up into itself and forms a sturdy yarn type string. It works great for projects like this.
