Product Review and Giveaway – Fix n Zip – Replace broken zippers in seconds! @fixnzip
I was home watching the Today Show one morning while waiting to take my daughter to the doctor. And I was thrilled that I caught this episode. The Today Show had several up and coming businesses there showing their products and essentially giving viewers the ability to vote on the best product.
The Fix n Zip was one that grabbed my attention immediately. Do you know how many articles of clothing I have had to throw out because the zipper broke and the cost to repair was just not practical. Not much frustrates me more than that. Especially when the article of clothing is more expensive or a newer article. Ugh…Of course since you all know me, I wouldn’t necessarily throw it out – I would cut it up and re-sew it into something else – but the original article of clothing is what we wanted.
Or how about those backpacks who’s zipper breaks one month after the school year starts. Of course the original zippers almost never last a full school year while the backpack is perfectly capable of holding up for a school year.
OR – what about that sleeping back that is not worth keeping as a blanket but totally useless as a sleeping bag once the zipper breaks.
Along comes Fix n Zip. This incredible product does not require sewing, tools or anything but basically allows you to bypass the broken zipper and still keep your clothing or other items fully functional.
The Fix n Zip looks like a zipper but with a knob on it. That knob is what allows you to plop the new zipper pull right onto the existing zipper. Simply unscrew that, fit one side of your zipper into the loosened opening, retighten, then feed the other sipper side through and pull. That may not make any sense but here is a video to illustrate it for you.
