Warmth for The Cool November Nights
Since we camp alot we are always in search of ways to keep warm. This is the perfect camping accessory and even helpful just to sit on the couch and cozy up to a movie.
I purchased heart designed fabric. Make sure it is 100% cotton so it can go in the microwave.
I taped two pieces of standard sized paper together, folded them in half, drew half a heart – then cut it out.
Cut the template out on double layered fabric
Turn inside out and sew right sides together – leaving approximately an inch wide opening to fill the shape with rice.
Fill with rice and sew the last remaining inch closed.
AND – now that I have placed a warming heart pillow on my daughter’s turbulent tummy – my son gets up after vomiting profusely all over layers and layers of blankets and stuffed animals! Ugh – I am off to start load after load of laundry and then I will make him a football shaped warming pillow. Fortunately they are a quick project! Never a moments rest…
