Don’t you just love Scooby Doo? Out of all the cartoons when I was growing up – this was by far my favorite. Scooby and Shaggy have such a dynamic friendship and relationship. How can you not fall for them!

We attended the 5pm show. It was a beautiful day out and a great day to venture into the city for an awesome show. The kids were so excited to get settled into their seats.
Hanover Theatre is exactly what you would envision for a theatre. It has the awesome balcony section (which we have not sat in yet) and the floor seats. No matter where you sit there is pure comfort. There are ushers everywhere to make sure you have no difficulties through your entire experience. The entire experience is very big city theatre like. The venue is spotless and kept up to perfection.
The show was done in true Scooby Doo style. It was quite interactive for the kids and that made the experience even more powerful and unique. Every time a ghost appeared on the stage, the kids were told to scream “ghost” to let the cast know there was a ghost in view. Let’s just say there was a great deal of yelling. Also when they played in their Missing Link band the kids were encouraged to clap and interact with singing. The show did have one issue that they didn’t seem quite able to work through – Daphne’s microphone didn’t work for most of the show. It didn’t hinder understanding the show’s storyline but it was a clear difficulty. Amazingly, the cast did not let it slow them down.
If you have the opportunity to see Scooby Doo Live in your local venue – it is totally worth attending. The kids all had a great time – kids of all ages – and who doesn’t love Scooby Doo?
