Jamberry Nails are nail wraps that allow you to achieve a designer look without the smell and mess of fingernail polish.
I must admit that I was a bit skeptical about coloring my fingernails with a sticky tape, but Jamberry Nails produced surprising results. I had spent years having gel or acrylic nails applied every other week by a manicurist and finally gave up this routine a few years ago in an attempt to do it myself. My thin, peeling, and brittle nails could hardly hold on to the many coats I would need to develop a smooth polish. But after each self-manicure with messy and difficult polishes, I was never able to get near-professional results in the application let alone remain chip-free for even a day.
Then I tried the Jamberry Nails – they provided a mess-free, odor-free, and simple way to achieve instant and gratifying results. I found them extremely easy to apply by following the clear and basic directions. It helped to do this in the bathroom under my bright lights and wielding my hair dryer and magnifying glasses. Using a tiny cuticle scissor, I trimmed the tapes close to my nails then finished the task with a brief file. I had prepared my nails well beforehand by pushing back the cuticle and making sure that they were oil-free and shaped in a basic oval.
While wearing the nails I went about my normal day: computer work, house cleaning and meal preparation, and even spray painting furniture (and wearing latex gloves) with no worries. I was pleased by the smooth and flawless finish they created even though my nails are thin with many ridges. They did not chip and it was easy to remove the product at the end of the day, which I did just to try out another pattern.
I would definitely use theses nails for special occasions, though I would personally prefer a more subtle look – perhaps a light pink or coral color would work for me. Having well-manicured nails is the extra touch for a well-groomed woman. Jamberry Nails helped to make this a pleasant and trouble-free process.
