I would love to get a good juicer so I can do a juice cleanse.

I love our juicer(s) and can’t live without them but we do go long periods without juicing. 90% of the fruit we juice is from the discount section at the grocery store. That is perfect for juicing – the correct ripeness resulting the the most tasty treats.

I would love to get a juicer and start juicing. My mom does it and she said that she loves it. Glad you are okay after your brush with the kiwi.

I highly recommend juicing if you have the time. I got my juicers at Big Lots and they were so much less expensive than I could find them anywhere else. I have a full size juicer at home and a smaller juicer for the camper.

Wow! I’ve never met anyone (that I was aware) who is allergic to kiwi… but how disappointing and frustrating *sigh* Glad you were okay and had your epipen handy.

I used to eat kiwi all the time. Love them! But one day blew up like the elephant woman within five minutes. At the time I had time to take a bunch of benadryl but that didn’t slow it down at all. It is actually quite a common allergy – the only one that is more common is peanuts. But not everyone eats kiwi so it doesn’t impact them. It is in the oak tree family – not like some people think, strawberry. Had I known that before I had a reaction I could have avoided it because I do have major allergies to oak trees. Oh well.

Seems to me you try to do too many things at one time..This definitely will cause some kind of Brain freeze during the rush! Lol! This happens to a lot of us.. Especially now a days. Taking care of a family, job and house is very time consuming.. But it all ends too soon… My Chilldren are married with their own children, so its not as hectic. But believe it or not I Miss it especially now that I am also retired..Take care not to eat any more Kiwi.. You were Lucky last time.. Have a Great time..

There is total chaos at all times in my house and constantly throwing ten balls up in the air and hoping I can catch them all. Usually nothing major happens – this could have been soooo bad. Thank goodness it wasn’t. Thanks

Don’t you jist love it when you have a brain freeze and do something you know you should not do. I do that all the time and then after just shake my head and say to self-What the heck were you thinking as I pop an allergy pill and take a few puffs of my inhaler! I am glad you are okay!!!!

  7. Amber B says:

I’m glad you are okay. I live with brain freezes so I completely understand. With 5 children it’s hard NOT to have chaos.

  8. Gotta love times like that, when you completely forget you just made something that you know you shouldn’t touch because of allergies! Good thing you have an epipen ready at all times!

I caught on to that right away. Lol Lucky you had the pen on hand. It happens to the best of us but hey at least you got to try it. 🙂
