Sifting Through The Chaos – Memorial Day Weekend 2014
For Memorial Day weekend we headed to Maine. But naturally nothing is ever easy for us. As soon as we got to Maine we had an emergency situation, at the campground, requiring emergency assistance. We caused quite a stir at the campground until midnight. But everyone is okay.
Then Saturday I decided to take Bob and Seph for ice cream and this is what happened to the suburban. You can see there is not nearly enough room for me to back the suburban properly into that space. But who knew they would even have a space that had this type of setup. This is the first year that pole was near that space. The electric company put it there. The ice cream place thought the solution was to move the spaces so the line was right at the pole. But clearly I am only slightly over that line and that $#*&#@ box sticks out about two fee and still managed to clip the window.
My husband drove the suburban home late Saturday night and came back up Sunday morning with the Magnum. As he is on the highway, there were cars all around him with no place for him to go. Next thing you know he is driving over a dead deer.
That was three major events in three days. Crossing my fingers that we are done.
