10monkeys Math World – Web Based Application Review and Giveaway

My daughter struggled with math this year and I was looking for a product to help her not only keep up but catch up.  10monkeys Math World totally fit that need.  It is a fun web-based application for practicing math online. It is designed for early learners in kindergarten and grades 1-3.  My daughter was in grade 3 but due to illnesses she lost alot of ground.  The goal is for her to totally catch up by the end of the summer.

10monkeys Math World encourages kids to learn math!

With 10monkeys Math World she is now much more enthusiastic and doesn’t hate the idea of sitting down to do some math.  It is like having a personal math tutor right at our finger tips at all times.  By the end of the summer she should no longer be struggling at all and so far is struggling a great deal less.

My daughter loves the virtual prizes – they keep her wanting more and wanting to do better and better.  The colors are incredibly vibrant.  This is an online program and she learns faster and more effectively with this tool rather than sitting in a classroom of 25 children and she may or may not grasp the concepts.   There are over 200 different activity types to motivate my daughter along the way with thousands of activities.

You can use 10monkeys Math World with desktops, laptops, interactive whiteboards, and tablets – additionally both iPad and Android are supported.  So much flexibility.

It is helpful that my daughter and walk away and pick back up at a later time – not losing anything that she has accomplished.  The auto-leveling is perfect and gives her just the right amount of challenge while also not frustrating her.  She can work at her own pace – in between riding bikes, beach runs, picnics and more.
