Hair Dye and Chlorine Don’t Mix

My hair is naturally black – black as can be.  However, as I have gotten older it is no longer black.  And after 5 years of chlorine, sea water, sun and more – it became blonde blonde.  It didn’t matter what I dyed it – it was still blonde.  I can sometimes get it to be a light brown but that is the darkest it will get.

It is raining at the campground this week so I decided – what better time to dye my hair.  But after three days soaked in chlorine – what I got was red.  I don’t necessarily dislike it but I definitely wasn’t expecting it.  Oh well, just another phase…
