Rolo Pretzel Turtle Treats – The Perfect Holiday Treat
I cannot believe the holidays are already upon us. I don’t know about all of you but this was such a quick year – I still feel like I will never catch up. We can’t even fully get the house back in order after a six month camping season. We start camping again at the end of April and we start it all again.
One thing I can find time for during the holidays and managed to make it happen today – my favorite sweet treat – Rolo Pretzel Turtle Treats!
There are so many ways to make these – you can use Rolo candies, or Hersheys Kisses and caramels or caramels and melted chocolate. The gist is always the same with four main ingredients however they are accomplished – Pretzels, chocolate, caramel and pecans.
For this particular version I use pretzel snaps (the square grid like pretzels), Rolo candies and halved pecans.
You can purchase a bag of Rolo candies but they are all individually wrapped and it takes forever to unwrap them all and get the job done. I purchase the candy bar sized rolls that have approximately 10 Rolos (I never actually counted). When you unwrap the full package the Rolos fall right out.
I warm up my oven to 300 degrees.
Lay pretzel snaps along a cookie sheet and place a Rolo on top of each. Place in the oven for about 7 minutes and remove. Then quickly press a pecan half on top of each.
And don’t forget to eat a handful while you they are gooey and warm!

this is great way you can make your goodies
This looks so yummy and super easy to make, I will be trying these out with the kids for sure!
Rolos are one of my favorite candies! Chocolate and caramel go together like heaven…and adding salty pretzels can only be divine! I’ve added these to my baking list for our neighborhood block party!
