The Capresso Iced Tea maker is perfect for brewing the perfect tea.  The pitcher is an 80 oz (2.5 quart) pitcher with a removable lid and an easy-pour spout.  It is a very solid pitcher and attractive.  The brew strength is easily adjusted from mild to strong taste with the flavor enhancer.  There is a removable permanent filter for loose tea or tea bags.  The glass pitcher, permanent filter and removable filter basket are all dishwasher safe.  The water tank removes for easy filling and cleaning.  The Capresso Iced Tea Maker also has an automatic shut off.  You can even add fresh or frozen fruit to the pitcher and voila – you will have delicious gourmet beverages.  The pitcher is designed to go straight from brewing to the fridge with a secure lid.  It can also be used to prepare iced coffee and comes with a full color recipe book with 18 recipes.

When using just add your favorite loose tea or tea bags to the reusable filter. The removable water tank can be filled directly at the sink for convenience. Adjust the brew strength with the slide on the front of the machine, for stronger tasting tea slide lever to the right. I love iced tea and for me it is definitely not just a summer beverage.  I am very particular about my iced tea though so the ability to have fresh brewed tea at home is perfect for us.  And I really need the ability to have iced tea be convenient – otherwise I will turn to those soft drinks that we all know are so bad for us but sadly – they are convenient.  I also like my iced tea very mild – probably much more mild than most people would like but that is my favorite.  The addition of raspberries, peaches or lemon make it all that much better!
