More Pampering for Xena With The Dog Slicker Brush

The Dog Slicker brush is a unique brush that has a push button mechanism.

Before using the brush looks like a brush with a cover on it.

Once you press the button, the bristles pop out.  This brush works well on dogs with medium or long coats.  We also have an English Mastiff but this is not ideal for her short hair.

I am exempt from dog brushing since I am the allergy sufferer in the house.  My husband does most of it but my daughter loves to help when Xena is not giving her a tough time.  Most often she loves the attention and sits beautifully the entire time.  If she thinks she is missing out on something important though she will not sit still.

The bristles seem to be quite comfortable and they easily remove the shedding hair from her undercoat.  She doesn’t have any mats at the moment but I am sure it would also work well on them.  The handle is comfortable and ergonomic.

When done brushing simply push the button again and the bristles pop back in, leaving only the shed hair behind – it cleans itself.
