Every Kitchen Needs This Microwave Splatter Cover

We have tried so many things to stop the splatter in the microwave.  I hate cleaning the microwave almost as much as cleaning the oven.  Those covers that are dome-like – definitely don’t like them.  They are a pain to clean and not that great for cups etc…

Generally, we end up resorting to paper plates to cover our food which is simply a waste of money.

This splatter guard is flat and rather large.  It sits easily atop a mug but also fits on top of any small, medium, or large bowl that we have.  What’s even better is since it is flat it is so much easier to clean and since I don’t have a dishwasher – that is so incredibly important.  This cover also has steam release holes so steam can still get out through the cooking process.  And my microwave is staying clean!  My second favorite thing about this – it takes up virtually no space in our cabinet.  It is thin and flat – I can fit that just about anywhere!
