My Son Loves His Rad Racer Bed Tent – Camping On His Own Bed and Giveaway

Although this is intended for children ages 3 and up – my 14-year-old son loves it and enjoys his privacy and he finds it very peaceful.  He is autistic and often spends time quietly by himself.  At least this tent keeps him from hiding under the dining room table!  First, I wasn’t sure it would be large enough for him – but he has a twin bed. Second, I wanted him to still have his mattress pad and mattress topper. At the time I didn’t realize the base didn’t wrap around the mattress. But lo and behold it doesn’t wrap around – it sort of fits like a regular pup tent with the corners of the tent angling over the corners of the mattress. So mattress pads and toppers were not an issue at all. He loves it!
