Planning for 2017 With Tools4Wisdom

I think every year at this time I look to the new year with a renewed sense of purpose and direction.  However, this year that determination is more powerful than ever.  My birthday is on Saturday and it is a milestone birthday – one of those that really causes you to reflect on your life and the direction it has taken, where you are now and the direction you want it to take.  I am not unhappy with where I am now or the path I have been on.  Our lives change drastically from year to year and this was by far the biggest year of changes since we were married 26 years ago.  But guess what?  I AM NOT DONE!  I have huge plans for 2017 and I have a husband who is completely supportive so I am diving in.

I am a firm believer in writing things down.  First – it gives me purpose and direction and allows me to not lose sight of where I wish to be and by when.  I set my goals high so I often don’t achieve some but I don’t care – I just carry those goals forward and continue to work towards them.

This “Always Believe in Yourself” planner is the perfect companion for 2017 and my planning and goals.

first-page

This planner has an entire section on goals and how to define them and prioritize them.

goals-sections

Then there are more typical monthly tabs

monthly-tabs

Within those monthly tabs I am able to define my annual goals in terms of monthly goals – or simply goals that are important for that particular month.  What is my biggest goal for that month?  What is my biggest outcome that I am expecting or hoping for?  Then I am able to break my goals down by day – for me this is so incredibly important.  It makes my goals more attainable by breaking them down to quantifiable, concrete tasks for each day.  I can even track my priorities for personal growth as well as work related growth.

At the end of the planner there is a section for notes and reflections.  I can reflect throughout the year and how my priorities and goals may need to be modified and/or I can reflect at the end of the year.  How did my plan work out?

For me my goals will be based on the following categories of my life:  Family, Animals, Work, Blog, Network Marketing, Social Media, and personal growth – not necessarily in that particular order.

I really need to invest in a new planner for 2017. I am similar in the way I have to write everything down. I use my journal but having a day to day planner would be so useful!

This is such a great looking planner. I always have to write things down as I forget from day to day. Setting goals and sticking to them is essential to having a happy life. Thank you for the post and discount code, I just placed an order for one of these for myself!

While I’ve always enjoyed writing the old fashion way, I’m torn about doing anything more on paper … OMG. It’s so much easier to search & find what I need via the computer, so I’ll give it some more thought but probably not.

Oh my goodness, I absolutely love everything about this! Despite being on my laptop a lot, I still love writing things down the good old fashioned way and this looks like a pretty cool tool!

What a great planner for this year 2017! I still have no planner and I’m planning to look for a perfect planner like this. This time, I can creat more realistic goals like yours.

I love my planner. I make sure I get a planner every year and I carefully pick which one fits my lifestyle. I think this one’s awesome and it’s definitely going to help you become more organized in life.

hope you’ll reach your goals and so far doing good! i am not a planner person. i write everyything straight from my calendar or notes where I can access them thru clouds where ever I am. unless it is day to day things to do then i’ll write them on a paper to help me focus. what i love about this planner above is the quotes or sayings that inspires you to keep going. thats very nice and cute
