4Pure Makes More of Lemonade, with Less

We are always looking for better beverages for our family.  Years ago (many years ago) it would not be unusual to find cases of soda in our home at any given time.  I think about that and cringe now.  I would scope out all the deals and it was the norm to stock up on ten or more cases of soda.  Times have changed and so have we.  Now we have a water cooler in our home as well as beverages that are so much better for us.

Maine-based 4Pure, Inc. has launched “4Pure,” a line of ready to drink lemonade beverages. The three 4Pure flavors include Pure Lemonade, Raspberry Lemonade, and Blueberry Lemonade. Each drink contains only purified water and three certified-organic ingredients that include only lemon juice, maple syrup, and either lemon zest, raspberry puree, or blueberry puree.

What is so great about 4Pure?  Well first and foremost – all natural ingredients.  They are free from preservatives or any chemical additives.  They are vegan, non-GMO, soy-free, dairy-free, and gluten-free!  But they also taste amazing!

Although I haven’t found them in stores just yet – they will be throughout New England because they have distribution partnerships with both Anheuser-Busch, MillerCoors, H&H Distributing of Connecticut and Guaranteed Fresh of Hyannis, Massachusetts.

Maple Syrup is the sweetener used and is far better than conventional drinks made with corn syrup and processed sugars.  While drinking it I can honestly say I don’t exactly taste the maple syrup – and it isn’t overwhelmingly sweet either.  They are quite delicious as lemonades as well as maple syrup has anti-inflammatory properties and propensity to protect brain cells from Alzheimer’s disease.  The company sources Fair Trade ingredients whenever possible, packages its products in BPA-free bottles, and donates 5% of profits to support local animal welfare organizations.

I love 4Pure and I actually didn’t invite my kids to try them – I wanted to keep them all to myself.  But as with most things when kids are around – they seem to have a sixth sense and knew to look for new drinks in the house.  They found them and quickly.  Within a day my stash was gone!  Thankfully I at least was able to try them.
