I am always on the search for a nice comfortable all around outdoor pair of boots. Literally, always looking. I own four horses so my boots need to hold up well to tons of use as well as every weather condition imaginable. Barn chores (and fun) are 365 days a year without exception and often not under the best of circumstances and conditions.
Additionally, as a family we hike a great deal – mountains, cliff walks, trails, through streams, falls and all sorts of condition. These travels rely on a good pair of boots just as much.
These Trek boots by J. Adams are lace up combat style boots. First I would say they are very fashionable and available in two colors – tan and black. I have a black pair and for no reason other than all my boots are black except one pair of pink…
The boots are synthetic with a heel approximately 1.25″. They are very comfortable and not stiff at all – the kind of boot that I can throw on and go with straight out of the box.
I love the laces all the way up (rather than side hooks that laces often slip off of). They provide plenty of support for all the terrain changes we experience throughout our days and travels. I love the contrast between the sole and the color of the boot itself. Even if you don’t do anything outside – these boots are quite fashionable and comfortable able to be worn under any situation.
