The idea of diversity is very targeted at this point. At a young age children are taught certain values! Through these amazing Selma’s dolls, young girls are taught about diversity! They are taught that everyone is amazing and unique! I must say miss Aubree is only 6 months old, yet she LOVES her new doll!
The message and meaning behind these incredible dolls is true perfection and a lesson that I believe is very important! Granted these dolls are meant for ages 2 and up, I believe this can be a gift for any age. The doll itself is incredibly made and comes with a storybook alongside it. The fabric is soft, cuddly, and absolutely stunning. This doll in particular comes with a book called “back to school”. I will personally being adding this book to Aubree’s library for night time reading in hopes of being able to hoard it until she starts school herself.
The book has beautiful illustrations and is a petite size. perfect for first time readers or short bedtime stories!
The immediate reaction I received when just showing Aubree her new Selma doll absolutely says it all! She was in pure bliss and was so happy!
Kisses for her baby!!!! I believe that instilling these values of acceptance at a young age is critical to a child’s development and growth! Doing it through these dolls is such a fun and rewarding way to do so! I would recommend these to anyone with a little girl of ANY age! They are amazing gifts and totally worth it! Loads of fun and absolutely deserving of your little girls love and adoration!
