One of the things I like to do least in life is grocery shopping. Why? Because I live on the third floor of our house and that means so many grocery bags to lug up three flights of stairs. So frustrating. By the time I get the bags upstairs I no longer have the energy to even put the groceries away.
If I use the disposable plastic bags, they rip, only hold a few items and are a real pain to drag all of them up the stairs. Moreover, plastic is not good for the environment so we must start using cotton bags. UGH. Reusable bags are a hodge podge of different bags I have purchased over the years and they are not convenient to store in the car and end up everywhere. In fact they constantly fall out of one another and end up all over the back of my SUV. There had to be a solution.
Check out this Lotus Trolley Bag! All my struggles are resolved!
The Lotus Trolley Bag is making my shopping experiences so much easier. The bundle consists of four bags that fold in half and velcro together in order to be carried as one bag when not in use. When I get to the grocery store I simply attach it to my cart through the shopping experience.
Once I unload my shopping cart, I open up the bags into cart and sort everything in a way that will allow me to put my items away when I get home most easily. One of the bags is a freezer/cold food bag and another is a bag that has a pocket for two dozen eggs and two bottles (such as wine).
Once I get to my vehicle, I simply separate the bags from one another – they are held together by velcro. Each individual bag has handles and can be carried separately.
And best of all I can keep them in my car and not have assorted bags falling all over the place and they are all folded together and securely stored for my next use. I need to definitely purchase more Lotus Trolley Bags so we have a set for every one of our vehicles. They also make awesome gifts because everyone’s lives would benefit greatly from these! They are also available on Amazon.
Not only do they have a regular set available (in my photos) but also a club cart size set – for warehouse stores like Costco, BJs and Sam’s Club.
Lastly, I am so glad to not have to resort to plastic bags. I hate throwing them out so always try to come up with ways to reuse them but they are so bad for our environment no matter what we do. So glad to have that stress removed from my life!
Well, now Lotus also has produce bags! I am very excited about this. Have you ever gone to a grocery store and those little produce bag rolls are ALL empty. They want to sell their produce but of course they don’t refill the rolls as often as they should. But also – I really prefer not to keep my produce in those plastic bags. They are extremely thin and produce easily poke through – which means my produce ends up all over the pavement which makes me far less than happy, not to mention a total waste of my money.
These bags are in a set of 9 – they are a premium mesh that will not rip and drop my contents on the ground. My produce is safe and secure. There are 3 small (12” x 8”), 3 medium (12” x 14″)and 3 large bags(12” x 17”), perfect for any produce I buy. They are reusable and washable by simply throwing in the washer.
All these produce bags have double-stitched on the sides (not on the bottom) for increased strength and support. They are soft & incredibly durable with no risk of tears. The drawstring is strong and comes with a secure white lock to keep contents secure. It is perfectly sized so it doesn’t get tangled when pulled tight.
Now I want a set of these to keep in each car!
