Have you ever had a desire to speak a language?

I am sure you have.  We are not necessarily an English speaking world anymore but it is so important to raise bilingual kids these days.  The world has changed and drastically. One of the best ways I know of to learn to speak another language is through the Babbel app!

Diversity

I am now learning Spanish with Babbel.  I work in an urban public school district and there are 37 languages spoken.  I have never been exposed to so many languages. Spanish is one of the top languages and I am determined to be able to communicate myself with some of the parents – rather than constantly trying to find someone to interpret.  This desire has led me to Babbel and learning Spanish to be able to connect with my school’s community. You can make a start with the help of the best spanish books for beginners and start your journey of learning Spanish language.

With Babbel, I can learn a language through exposure and repetition.  There are 14 languages available to choose from There are many lessons that help build up skills conversationally.  Their goal is to get you to be conversational quickly. Literally after four days of practice I had a dream and in my dream I was speaking conversationally in a normal conversation with someone.  It was so cool – I knew what they were saying!

Why Babbel?

Babbel makes all of this a possibility by teaching real life conversational skills while teaching us how to speak correctly and with confidence.  The constant reinforcement allows for us to remember what we learn through each of the lessons. Each set of lessons only takes 10 to 15 minutes to complete.  Lessons can be completed via an app on your cell phone or even on your computer. Take your lessons with you anywhere you go. For me it is so easy to do a lesson before work, on my lunch break and after work.

These small lesson bits make it possible to easily become a habit.  We can all fit 10-15 minutes in here or there. To sit down in a traditional two hour lesson can become almost impossible as a mom – especially with little children or children who have you running in all different directions.

Babbel helps you with lessons to guide you through every step of the process so you can be conversational.

In the upper right hand corner there are 7 sections (for example) to a lesson.  And the sections incorporate listening, repeating, spelling, unscrambling, correct placement and more.  When you make a mistake – it tells you why it was a mistake and how to correct it. The skills build upon one another.

One of the things I love most about Babbel is its affordability.  You really can’t learn a language any place else for this price point.  And you can access lessons as long as you are subscribed!

This is super cool and I am definitely checking this one out. I took Latin in High School and have always regretted it as I should have taken Spanish.
