“Must Have” Item For Baby – Wubbanub’s MLB Pacifiers

When my children were younger I was busy attending baby showers with all my friends.  Everyone was having children at the same time – so many babies.  Then there seemed to be more than a decade of dry years – no babies.  None…

But now the grandchildren are coming along and now some of my kids friends are having babies.  Yay!!!  Who doesn’t love a baby.

One of the things I have found throughout this journey is that baby “stuff” gets more and more cool as I get older.  I am constantly left wishing I had that when my kids were younger.  And now Wubbanub’s MLB Pacifiers comes along and increases that sentiment even more.

Funny thing is when I was growing up I collected baseball cards, played baseball, lived and breathed baseball in every waking moment.  NOTHING was more important to me than baseball.  Eventually I played softball also but a good ole game of baseball was my preference.  Yes I am a girl – but tell that to all the boys who couldn’t hold a candle to me.  In college I played softball on a team but I played baseball with minor league baseball players.  To say I thought my entire life was going to be about baseball would be an understatement.  Then… I started having a family and baseball?  I still played around but that was no longer my life.

Now, I see this great product, the Wubbanub’s MLB Pacifier which combines my love for baseball with a pacifier!  Babies’ little fingers can grab the little plushie and enjoy their pacifier.

Whether you call it a binky, paci or soother, the pacifier is a pleasure for both baby and parents with its power to calm even the fussiest infant.  We always called it an aye aye (I, I).  According to the Mayo Clinic, most babies have a strong sucking reflex. Some babies even suck their thumbs or fingers before they’re born.

Beyond nutrition, sucking often has a soothing, calming effect.   This is the exact pacifier I used with my daughter years ago – it was the only one she liked.  Seriously I would search high and low when she lost one.  What could possibly be better than this amazing pacifier paired with an MLB plushie!
