I have so much experience with aromatherapy through a Ph.D. in natural health but I have to tell you most of my learning has come from being a mom, dog owner and horse owner.  If I didn’t live a life with aromatherapy and other natural solutions, I would be paying not only medical bills on a regular basis but also vet bills for our dog and horses.  That combination could literally bankrupt us.

One of the great things we do with our oils is mix them and make other items better with them.  You can use oils as is, some can be ingested, topically used or diffused.  In this example I have used a mineral lotion as a base because I am suffering with some metabolic issues as well as arthritis, joint and soft tissue discomfort.  The mineral lotion helps alot – but it is not pleasing to smell.  I add Pure Sweet Orange oil to my lotion to make the smell so much more pleasing.  Sweet orange essential oil is a mood booster (who doesn’t need that), helps allergies (which I struggle greatly with), and arthritis relief.
