Our experience

We had the opportunity to check out Disney on Ice at the XL Center in Hartford opening night.  The event was packed!  Thank goodness we arrived early enough to find parking and get to our seats in time.  My daughter and I went along with our cousins.  I haven’t been to Disney on Ice since at least 25 years ago when our oldest two children were still quite young.  This was such a thrilling night.  The skaters were very skillful and the stories were captivated perfectly with their skills.

I honestly can’t remember much about our last Disney on Ice experience but something tells me they didn’t have actual snow falling inside the venue or a line of fire appearing on the ice!  This was everything you would expect in a modern family event.

My favorite skit involved Nemo and Dori.  I love Dori and that is the name my grandchildren gave to me and I love it so much (as I do them).

I highly recommend seeing Disney on Ice – see what date and location works best for you.
