This air fryer is so easy and intuitive to use. Simply use the preset buttons or select a temperature and time for your cooking. The 8 presets are even photos so the user doesn’t need to be able to read to operate the air fryer. It is easy to use but please do not allow a younger child to use it – the heat is significant and could potentially result in injury. I have teens so they have no problem understanding cooking safety.
Air Fryer Corn On The Cob
I know most people boil their corn but we almost never do. First, it is not unusual for my daughter and me to eat corn on the cob raw. While we shuck the corn we inevitably grab one each and eat it right away. Seriously if you have never eaten raw corn on the cob it has a unique sweetness that is sure to please.
Other times we cook corn on the cob on the grill. We soak the corn (in its husk) in water for about a half-hour. Then each cob (still in the husk) gets wrapped in aluminum foil and placed on the grill. It gets cooks on the grill for about a half-hour – essentially steaming within the foil.
Although I love corn on the grill – I don’t use the grill, my husband does.
Prepping The Air Fryer
Preheat the air fryer to 390 degrees F for five minutes.
Once the five minutes is over, place shucked corn inside the air fryer basket and cook for 8 minutes at 390 degrees F.
My air fryer is XL but if you have a smaller air fryer you may need to break the cobs in half prior to placing them in the basket.
At the end of an air fryer cycle, there is a short cool-down period where the fan is running. Don’t open the basket until the cycle completes.
Once the corn is done, eat it however you’d like. My daughter and I love it with melted butter, fresh parmesan, and fresh ground pepper.
