Lionsgate Family Camp Now On DVD, Digital

The film follows two families competing for the coveted camp trophy while the dads try to keep their families and marriages together.  Directed and written by Brian Cates (TV’s The Glory of Christmas, Super Dads), Family Camp will be available for the suggested retail prices for DVD is $19.98, Digital for $14.99, and Video On Demand for $5.99.

When Grace Ackerman signs her family up for a rustic summer Family Camp, a comedy of errors ensues as these polar-opposite families must share a yurt and compete for the camp’s coveted games trophy. GREAT FAMILY FILM

Family Camp is a film that focuses on two families who embark on a religious retreat for their families. They have little in common but they find themselves forced to share a yurt. They don’t get along and the competition heats up at first. They soon discover that they share more than they realize after they spend so much time together. They form a bond that will endure long after their retreat ends, thanks to their shared faith.

This was a fun film that my family enjoyed together. The film is filled with humor and friendly competition. It teaches people to find common ground and overcome differences. You can purchase the DVD on Amazon and in local stores.
