Aviator owners Spribe have signed a long-term marketing deal with UFC. The mixed martial artist known as MVP is the latest sportsman to become their brand ambassador.
The Welterweight and Middleweight division mixed martial artist, Michael “Venom” Page, has been announced as the latest brand ambassador for Aviator. The owners of the game, Spribe, have a long history of taking figureheads from the UFC, with the last one announced just three weeks ago. But what is a brand ambassador meant to do, and how does it position Aviator on the global markets?

Michael Page and Spribe
Spribe is the company behind Aviator, the game that has taken online casinos by storm. Unlike other gambling games, Aviator is easy to play straight away and does not require people to learn complex rules and mechanics. When you place an Aviator bet, you wager on the path of an aircraft and must decide when to cash out or lose your stake. Added to this are unique social elements like leaderboards and pooled bets. The original of its kind, Aviator has since spawned a whole genre named ‘crash gaming’.
Many know Page simply as MVP. Over the coming year, he will promote the Aviator game in a range of different ways. This is part of a multi-million-dollar deal spanning several years made with UFC. It positions the game’s unique branding centre stage at events and selected pay-per-views, even having it visible inside the octagon.
Giorgi Tsutskiridze is the CCO at Spribe. He added that “We are thrilled to add Michael ‘Venom’ Page to our lineup of Aviator brand ambassadors and for him to be taking part in some truly epic campaigns over the coming 12 months. MVP is a fearless fighter who always puts on a great show whenever he steps into the Octagon, and this has seen him earn a large and loyal international fan base.”
Aviator Brand Ambassadors
The move comes just three weeks after they also announced Diego Lopes da Silva as a brand ambassador. Where MVP is a London-born athlete, Lopes da Silva hails from Brazil, suggesting Aviator is consolidating its global fanbase through these appointments. For the next year, he will take part in several marketing campaigns for the company.
Spribe is really leveraging the UFC roster to promote their brand. Aside from the two mentioned above, other ambassadors have included Arman Tsarukyan, Merab Dvalishvili, Alex Pereira, and Johnny Walker.
Aviator is the world’s leading and first crash game. It has over 60 million monthly players, is available at 5,500 online casinos, and sees 400,000 bets placed per minute.
Playing a Game of Aviator
Playing Aviator starts by signing into an online casino that provides it. There are a lot, and they will probably have a range of other crash games available. However, we would recommend starting with the original and best.
Beginning a game, you will enter a lobby where you can wait for the next round to start. Place your Aviator bet, and you will soon be taken to the game screen. Unlike most casino games, in Aviator, you are all betting on the same event. This makes it much closer to a sporting game than pursuits like poker, where you play against others, or blackjack, where it is you against a dealer. The game begins when the aircraft takes off into the sky.
As the aircraft soars off, it will soon hit different multipliers. These will increase your bet and could soon amount to a sizable total. The aim is to cash out your money before the aircraft takes off into the stratosphere, or in other variations, crashes to the ground. When it happens, if you have not cashed out, then you lose your wager.
The game is determined by a random number generator. So, you may find in one round the aircraft is out right away, but in others it carries on and creates big wins. This random nature is what makes the game so fun.
Tips When Playing Aviator
While Aviator is random, there are some tactics that help you enjoy a longer, more rewarding game. The first is to manage your bankroll. Set an amount for your session, and don’t go over this. Then stick to small wagers to help minimize any losses. You don’t want to bet your whole bankroll and see it go in one fell swoop.
Once you are used to the mechanics of the game, you may want to try a pro strategy. These can involve betting patterns like the Martingale strategy and Fibonacci sequence. They are designed to minimize losses, though they can also lead to sterile, boring games that simply use patterns.
Aviator has taken the world by storm, and as Spribe positions it with UFC, it shows that it is set to go even further. With other sports sponsorships in the pipeline, it could soon be seen on everything from the EPL to the NFL and beyond.
