I am a wife and mother of five. For decades I worked the usual 9 to 5 but also had side hustles and my blog. In January 2021, I quit the 9 to 5 rat race to work on my businesses full-time. Ultimately, my life will never be the same! I am finally able to spend time with my family, support the needs of my mother-in-law who lives with us, and allow my husband to not worry about what is or isn’t happening at home.
Struggling to make life work with a 9 to 5 was taking its toll on me for sure. My health was deteriorating; my special needs children were not getting as much support as they needed, and throughout COVID-19, my 9 to 5 became a 5 am to 10 pm position seven days a week with, of course, no additional compensation. Enough was enough.
As a financial administrator in multiple positions for my entire adult career, it was natural for me to coach and mentor friends and coworkers throughout the years. Now I want to help you! Join me on this financial journey.
Blogging has always been my greatest passion. Initially, in 2008, it was a forum for me to write. I didn’t even publicize my blog for the longest time. It was public and if people found it, fine. But I wasn’t looking for followers.
My primary blog, TheStuffofSuccess.com, was well established by the time I decided to start trying to make money. Then, of course, I spent a fair amount of time kicking myself for not working towards that goal sooner
Writing has always brought me pleasure. Even as a child, before the days of iPads, I would carry a notepad with me everywhere. Those long road trips were the perfect way to get those creative juices flowing. Either I was drawing or writing stories.
In 2021 I am an author, blogger, copywriter, content writer, and more.
For fun, we have several horses, one dog at the moment, though usually more. We also camp in our RV, hike, bike, swim, travel, and more.
