    After Rice University Professor Marjorie Corcoran was killed at a Houston intersection, anyone examining the scene on Google Street view could see why.  Corcoran crossed the light rail tracks and was hit by a train. At the intersection, pedestrians faced a pair of uncoordinated pedestrian signals –– one letting them cross four traffic lanes and the tracks, another letting them traverse Main Street’s six lanes.
