Product Review – Organic and Natural Feminine Care

Natracare stands for more than just organic and natural products. They are an award winning, ethical company committed to offering organic and natural solutions for personal health care that leave a soft footprint on the earth.

For all of their feminine hygiene and baby care products, they use only organic and natural materials that meet the highest organic, environmental and biodegradable standards, sourced from raw material producers that manage and monitor resources respectfully and share their principles.

I was given the opportunity to try some of their feminine hygiene products – panty liners, tampons and intimate wipes.  I have been struggling with traditional over the counter products and now I know why.  They have chemicals in them?!  Seriously, with all my allergies, the last thing I need is chemicals near those sensitive parts.  I couldn’t figure out why I always ended up raw and it took days afterwards to recover.  Traditional brands have chlorine bleaching, pesticide spraying on conventionally grown cotton, and the use of rayon and plastics in feminine hygiene.  Yeah, that sounds just about as bad as it really is.

Their tampons are 100% organic cotton, chlorine free, rayon free, and plastic free.  Their Pads are 100% organic cotton, chlorine free, plastic free – and depending on the variety – 95% t0 100% biodegradable.  And, their wipes are organic cotton and essential oils, no SLS, no parabens and 99% biodegradable.  They are perfectly absorbent and perform up to the expectations that I am used to.   There is nothing in these products that will cause any concern for me – no dyes, chemicals, fragrances or anything.

Today, you can find Natracare tampons, pads, liners and wipes in leading grocery stores and drugstores throughout the United States right next to conventional brands.  Natracare’s organic and natural cotton tampons, pads, liners and wipes retail for $3.62 -$8.24.
