The Perfect Portions Digital Scale is a scale and nutritional calculator in one. Using the familiar “Nutrition Facts” label, it clearly displays the nutritional content (calories, fats, carbs, sugars and more) of nearly 2000 foods adjusted to your portion size. It allows you to see how many calories are in that handful of candy or track the sugar content of foods without labels.
Unlike other nutritional scales, it breaks down the information into % daily value, tracks your daily total, and even lets you customize the scale by entering 99 of your own foods. It has an easy-to-clean, stylish glass-top surface and touchpad keys. The Perfect Portions Scale works with any diet to give you the information you need to help you control your portions and make healthy choices. Display weight in grams or lb oz with high resolution gradation (0.1oz/1g). Max weight capacity 10 pounds/5 kg). Additional features include automatic power off; tare function; 5 year warranty. Batteries included.
I love this scale. I am drastically modifying my diet at the moment due to a recent health scare and I need all the guidance I can get. We no longer need to deal with archaic food scales that never seem to really measure you food properly. And they were definitely never able to give me feedback with nutritional facts. Check out this nutritional feedback…
Everything you want to know about the food you are eating. You no longer need to carry a separate device to calculate your foods nutritional value. It is all conveniently in one place, with one device. I can even add 99 of my own foods – right at the moment that seems like a large number. Who knows if I will ever hit it – maybe. But in the meantime most of what I need or want is already in the database of foods. If it isn’t – chances are I shouldn’t be eating it anyway… I do wish the display were a little brighter. That may not be an issue for most people but due to my eye surgeries – it is pretty important to me.
